This Monday, Canadians will celebrate Thanksgiving. The editorial team at Food Network and I gathered great recipes that your family and friends should savor. If your menu is still undecided, you can consider these:
+ Pecan and Stilton Stuffed Brie by Elizabeth Baird
+ Brie Phyllo Pastry by Julie Zwillich
+ Zucchini and Apple Soup by Christine Cushing
+ Roasted Turkey with Herb Gravy by Christine Cushing
+ Walnut, Fig and Brie Tart with Pear Sauce by Anna Olson
+ Perfect Pumpkin Pie by Anna Olson

Designed by Amy Butler for Mikasa, Vintage Botanica looks modern despite its vintage vibrant floral pattern. I really like it. I am looking for a new dinnerware set. Amy Butler designed a set that can be a contender.
The shallow bowl centerpiece by Martha Stewart is fun and unusual. Start by making a flat base on daikon radishes and turnips. Martha suggests inserting black-headed pushpins to form eyes. Draw a happy mouth by carving a half-moon into the vegetable with a paring knife, and fill it in with a black marker.
SOURCING:
+ Vintage Botanica Dinnerware by Amy Butler – $49.95 to $159
+ Thanksgiving Menu by the foodtv.ca Editorial Team
+ Putting Down Roots centerpiece by Martha Stewart
