I resist a long time to talk about my adoration for Orla Kiely on my blog. The reason is that the best of her collection is not related to home décor or entertaining. That was until I discover her travel bags.
To celebrate the vacation season, I am thrilled to present her current travel bag collection. That is what I call traveling in style. The patterns and colors are so beautiful.
Luggage Essentials And My Packing Tips
I never bring black luggage because they do not stand out on the airport carrousel. Even if our suitcase meets the requirements of the a cabin luggage the content may not. So it is best to be prepared.
I prefer not to check in my luggage when I travel. Therefore, I learned to pack light. One trick is to bring clothes that you can mix and match. Since I enjoy wearing dresses and shirts, I can manage to be fashionable without carrying too much stuff.
Wear a coat as you board the plane; some planes are cold so you may be glad you have with you. I typically wear a stylish pair of extensible jeans, a fitting tee shirt and a nice sweater. The key is layering. Avoid sneakers or high-heels. Ballet shoes or a fashionable flat shoes are your best bet. You should aim to look great while being comfortable.

Any one of the Orla Kiely’s wallets and cosmetic bags will please the fashionista. I would have a hard time deciding which one to get between the Mainline accessories line and the Etc accessories range.
The actualised vintage vibe of her clothing line is fun. I only wish there were more retailers that carry the Orla Kiely brand in Canada.

I cannot resist Orla Kiely’s bold graphics! They make carrying a bag a lot more fun. I especially like is how they’re designed with utility in mind–i.e. the details may look good, but they’re also practical. Anyway, I usually got to pedshoes.com for Orla items, just because their customer service rocks! Very personal and helpful.

December 7, 2009 at 07:04I badly want to buy these! but mom (and many other people) told me carrying unique and designer luggage is more likely to be stolen from the carrousel.
Sometimes you get delayed and reach the carrousel after the bags are already out.
