There will be no fight at the table for the salt with these awesome egg cups. They are all cleverly made and unique in style.
The first eggcup that caught my eye is shaped like a birdhouse. The melamine base of the Auerhahn Cocook Egg Cup comes in 6 colors. The perch is an easy to fill, stainless steel salt shaker.

Designer Ole Jensen designed the Surface Eggcup for Muuto. He created a porcelain egg cup that is both practical and beautiful. Egg, salt and accruing waste can be transported to the breakfast table, into the garden, to the bed and back to the kitchen uncomplicatedly and without greater efforts. It’s my favorite!

The third designer egg cup is sleek. Made of matte stainless steel, the Auerhahn A Design Egg cup with Salt Shaker comes with its mini salt shaker. Despite its curvy form, I feel that it is the more masculine of the 3 egg cups that I presented here.

After seeing them, I really wish that they were more designer egg cup options in North America. Do you use egg cups at home?

January 8, 2013 at 01:11I still prefer the Hold On eggcup you had presented on an earlier post from Maison & Objet. Did you ever find out how/where to buy one? I found it so amuzing.
Thanks!
