My house is not kid friendly but with a few key changes, it will be. One thing is for sure there will be no ugly corners on my furniture. Instead, I plan to update some furniture pieces to fit my new family life.
One the first things that needs to be updated on my living room is the coffee table. I have a big rectangular glass table from IKEA. I wanted to change it for a while; now is the right time. I want to replace it with a big storage ottoman with soft corners.
The lemongrass color of the Stow Leather Storage Ottoman caught my attention last weekend when I visited Crate & Barrel. I like the fact that the cube ottoman can act as extra sitting. I would put them on the side of the room. They would look great next to my traditional high Montauk sofa upholstered with a navy blue canvas. I still need to find a coffee table with hidden storage to match those pieces.
Crate & Barrel carries a line of rectangular storage ottomans but the fabric selection is boring. Do you have any suggestions?
