Le Balconier, a newly opened store (mid-April 2013) in Montreal, fills a need in the market. It is hard for condo owners and urban residents to create an outdoor oasis due to the lack of furniture and outdoor accessories that would fit their balcony. This is where Le Balconier comes to their rescue.
I have to applaud the fact that the store showcases 3 terraces and 6 balconies. Seeing their space saving BBQ options, folding dining tables and furniture arrangements in an actual space will help the consumers to make a more informed selection. It gives shoppers examples of what is possible. Would you have guessed that an illuminated planter, a small BBQ attached to the railing, a two-seater sofa, and a folding table transform a 5′ 1/2″ X 7′ balcony into a great spot to relax and have an intimate dinner?
