The inspiration was Mother’s Nature for the urbanites. Basically this is a fresh food theme that was done to please design enthusiast city dweller.

I bought the aqua floral table linen at Maison Simons, a popular store with boutiques in Quebec City and in Montreal. The dishes are a mix match of my own dinnerware and flatware. By varying different shapes, I create depths within my place setting.

The idea behind the centerpiece is that the vase should be incognito; a transparent clean line vase is your best bet. Then select one kind of flower that reminds you of a vegetable. Several artichokes nicely displayed in a service bowl will also make a stunning centerpiece.
