Wow! I am in awe with the pool area and the overall hotel design. I loved to stay there for a week of vacation. This is a night view of the pool area at Hotel Encanto, which is a new hotel in Acapulco, Mexico that was designed by Miguel Angel Aragones.

The hotel’s 44 rooms and suites all have private terraces facing the ocean. They were designed based on a novel concept of total privacy. It could be an ideal intimate spot to host an upscale destination wedding.

I love this sight. I imagine hours of pleasures swimming on this rooftop pool in Mexico designed by Tatiano Bilbao. This beach house is unique. It is build to not disturb the coastal scenery. We can see that countries have different rules regarding safety since they are not railing.

The floor plan is quite unique. This beach house designed for the artist Gabriel Orozco’s family is out of the ordinary. The house is organized around the concept of camping. Like a tent, you must exit each room to the exterior in order to get to another room, such as the toilet or kitchen.

Plus it is not the first time that Tatiano Bilbao plays with multilevel spaces and strategically block and uncover views along the way. We can see it in the exhibition pavilion for the 2006 Jinhua Architecture Park in China.

Tatiano Bilbao has an impressive portfolio. Many of their buildings are innovative and very creative. They do residential, commercial and institutional buildings. Architecture Record did a nice interview with her.

Marcela brings a modern twist of authentic Mexican cooking. Have you ever taste Date and Mexican Chocolate Ricotta Fritters? I never but I am intrigued to try.

Jamie Oliver is becoming more and more a lifestyle brand about cooking. As the empire of Jamie Oliver keeps growing, he centralizes all his ventures into one URL. Clever move! I wish to go to UK just to be able to eat at one of his restaurants and book a cooking session at his Recipease shop. Plus, you will find many recipes from his books online.

Even if the site is in French, I could not pass the newly launched Ricardocuisine.com for its features. What I like about his new Web site is the menu and shopping list part. You can plan your menu for the week or for a party and based on the menu, create a shopping list. You can send the shopping list by email. It is eco-friendly and you won’t risk to realize that you forgot your shopping list as you enter the grocery store. We want an English equivalent, Ricardo.

Ricardo Larrivée is very popular in Quebec. He hosts his own TV show, published several cookbooks and has his own magazine. Fans of FoodTV.ca discovered Ricardo with a different TV show titled Ricardo and Friends.
