Hanging Holiday cards looks better than putting them on a shelf. It allow you to be more creative. You could install clothesline against the  wall, hang your cards on a handrail, transform a pot rack or use a paper chandelier.

Pottery Barn added to their catalog the Wakefield Chandelier. It is a three tiered iron chandelier with 35 clips. Although it comes with preprinted paper clips, I prefer it when people hang postcards and memorabilia that mean something to them.

I spotted on Art vs Craft the hand-carved work of TC Witchcraft Factory. They sell their stamps on etsy. These are produced by T&C, an Asian couple living in Twin Cities area in MN, USA. From the cute little witch, the Happy Halloween sign to the Nightmare before Christmas, their stamps are awesome.

I looked for more inspirations since I believe in the mix and match. Michaels is a sure bet to find crafts supplies. Plus, they carry many Martha Stewart Crafts products, including her craft punches. Sunset magazine is a West Coast lifestyle magazine that I enjoyed reading every time I went to California. I love it so much that I became a subscriber a few months ago. The Sunset gardens are open to the public. The gardens are located at their headquarters in Northern California. I marked it down for my next trip to San Francisco since they are less than 1 hour from there. In fact, I like to go to their Celebration Weekend next year.

If you are lucky to live in a warmer climate, it is not too late to get inspired by these grouping of pots. They would make a statement on your front door. Every time you do a grouping, you must repeat elements. You can vary the heights and shape of the pots but it is usually best to keep your containers all in the same color, same finish.

I wish to talk about this restaurant not for his cooking, since I have never ate there but for its decor. Les Enfants Terribles is a pub located in Outremont, Quebec. What strikes me is how the architect Louis-Joseph Papineau play with depths on the reclaimed walls to create storage and decorating shelving. Naturally, he used the same technique to keep the bar bottles.

The food is a mix between typical French bistro and pub food. I am curious to try their fish and chips. If you want to get an idea of the food, watch this 30-second video. I would skip the calamari dish.

A Pencil Collection for Artists

After seeing those pictures, you may be tempted to start collecting 500 color pencils by Social Designer. Made from China, the pencils would be shipped from Japan.
