    Do you need your destination Web site or it is OK to simply be on My Space and Facebook? You do not need a destination site but it is not an obligation. My Space and Facebook are stable enough now. You can have a destination site but it is costly. Your destination should be another way to engage with your users and to experiment. The vanity URL for pages will help your promotion.

    Retention on Facebook is easier since users do not leave Facebook to see newsfeeds and notifications. My Space has a higher amount of uninstalled. And it is harder to get them back on My Space.
    Plus on Facebook, keep more the applications than on My Space.
