We passed a lot on time in front of our computer. Many of us do it at home. Today I wish to talk about the need to surround your home office with things you love. The goal towards a paperless society means that we need less and less office supplies. This fact frees up space for nice storage ideas and to integrate decor accessories. May 4, 2009 at 14:06I’m gearing up for a home addition that will include new office space and so am getting ready to share ideas with an architect and interior designer. Storage space is definitely a must-have for me and, since I’m now on a laptop more often than not, and the space will look out over my garden, in an ideal world the space will end up looking less like an office and serving more than that single purpose. I want to take full advantage of the room’s features and possibly make it a second social space for guests, during non-office hours, as well. Have been thinking about customized moroccan-inspired seating with storage bins built-in to the benches.
Cheers for this blog post .. you’ve given me a lot to think about and convinced me that I’m on the right track in considering a multi-purpose room that is designed to feel like part of the home.
