Ikea Hack of the Celeber Spice Jars

ikea hack of celeber jars seen on show and tell

This is one of the best Ikea hack I have seen. It was an idea of Andy from Show and Tell. His project involved laser cut performed on the acacia wood caps to write the words salty and sweet. I like that typographic style.

That is TOO cool. But alas, pretty hard for us common folk without lasers to recreate. 😉 (Lasers is said in Dr. Evil’s Voice, of course)

Lindsay: You are right. I wonder if we can make something that would look as sharp with a woodburning pen.

Very nice typographic style indeed. Do they have other caps for flour, coffee, tea, etc.?

Nathalie Roths: The bigger Celeber jars at IKEA have a transparent lid with an acacia wood rim. Therefore, it would not apply. This is a DIY project. Therefore, you could use whatever lids you like.

You’re right- a wood burning pen would likely work!
