You should have seen my happy face  when I entered Afternoon Tea, a Japanese retailer that sells adorable bento boxes and lunch accessories. Their collection includes you need and dream of to bring your lunch or go on a picnic in style. Their products are not only pretty; they are practical. Boxes come in several shaped and sizes.

I want to buy almost everything! But I will wait until the end of my trip to buy a few items. I just hope that they do not run out of stock in stores of what I want since a few items are already out of stock on their online site.

  1. OMG! They are so adorable!!!!! I wish they sell those in Canada. I have been looking for the perfect bento boxes, but have not find anything that I liked enough yet!

  2. oooh, they look really cute! Good thing we have Japanese outlet stores here in the Philippines. They’re being sold here for less than $2 a set. It comes with a pair of small chopsticks that fits snugly inside the box. The ones they sell here though are in plain colors only, the lunch boxes you featured are way cuter!

  3. Bento boxes are definitively on my shopping list. Like you said, we cannot find nice ones in Canada, or even in the States.

  4. There is a beautiful store in Granville Island in Vancouver called Paper-Ya (www.paper-ya.com) that sells Japanese lunch boxes. They aren’t the stacking boxes that you feature but they are created in the bento style. They might just be a fix for those of us Canadians that are not fortunate enough to be in Japan.

  5. Wow, The ones they sell here though are in plain colors only, the lunch boxes you featured are way cuter!Like this.
