Line: Mine still makes perfect toast. And the exterior is in a heat-resistant plastic compound. This is why I hesitate to change it. The Bodum is definitely tempting me.

I am happy to read that I am not the only one with a 15 year old toaster! I have to admit, I changed my 15 year old toaster a few months ago. I wish I read this before ( or your wrote it before! ) cos it definitely sounds like a cool appliance,

bought the black one on the weekend, and the matching kettle! Favourite part as you say is the lack of fingerprints!
