Hey Kim, thanks for the mention on the jams! Just wanted to let you know I was inspired by one of your posts on the garlic-scape pesto. I have a ton because garlic season is around the corner and the basil is also fantastic. I combined the scapes into my regular pesto creation and it has been the best pesto ever! Will be making an awful lot this year. Thanks! Treasa

Oh my gosh Kim.....I love eating outside....and like the other Phoenician - not when it's quite so hot. Just a few weeks ago, I invited my neighbor from across the street. She's recently widowed and Michael and I wanted to reach out to her. Weather-wise - it was still decent enough for an early morning Garden Breakfast (hmmm...think I'll do a post on this) :-)....out in the back section of our garden. I served my Peach Pancake specialty and french press and then of course...fresh eggs from "the girls." A memory indeed.

This is actually the third time in the past month that I've done this - gathered women around my Garden table to serve them. It's something not done much these days - not only for our own families but for those we say we care about.

The memory still lingers with those three sets of women - all different ages...of the Garden Breakfast moments.

Great post and I LOVE the silver garden pieces in your Etsy shop...

OH...thanks for stopping by and saying HELLO.

you're awesome!
