Outdoor Wicker Chairs: Four Splurge and a Steal

Sampan and Iraya daybeds from locsin collection for neoteric home

I gathered a few items to make you dream before the weekend. I finished with a steal at Pottery Barn.

Neoteric produces upscale outdoor furniture with a remarkable design. Sampan and Iraya are two stunning daybeds. From the 2007 collection of B&B Italia, a huge women pattern built the structure of the Canasta circular sofa designed by Patricia Urquiola. It is a nice alternative to the Dedon Orbit without canapy.

Melon from Neoteric is a big chair that gives you privacy. Colorful cushions would seem more appropriate for Melon. Especially that summer 2009 is pretty vibrant in terms of colors. A steal is the Palmetto all-weathered wicker chair currently on sale at Pottery Barn.

Kim, Someday I’m going to have boats of money and I’ll have you come and decorate a beach house for me. ;^D

In the meantime, I have a hanging wicker egg chair and a wicker chaise lounge. My plan is to paint them – the egg chair will be lemon yellow inside and hot pick outside – the chaise will be tangerine.

I’ve never painted wicker before, so I hope it goes well.

Sand a little for a better paint adherence. Two light coats of spray paint work the best for wicker. See more details on HGTV.ca http://is.gd/A2JH

I absolutely love wicker chairs that envelopes your whole body. it transports you to your favorite tropical spot immediately! i saw so many pieces in the Philippines that were way cheap but I knew the freight charges would be a killer!
