Last year, I gave you my recipe for cucumber water. My ingredients were cucumber, mint sprigs and half a lemon. This time I am suggesting two variations on the theme.
Cucumber and Rosemary Water recipe

- Cut 10 cucumber slices for one branch of fresh rosemary.
- Put the cucumber and rosemary in a pitch.
- Fill the half of the pitcher with ice cubes. Fill with water.
- Let it macerate in the fridge for 24 hours before serving.
Orange and Green Apple Water recipe

- Slice one orange.
- Spread some lemon juice on 2-3 slices of green apple
- Put the apple, the orange, and half a lemon juice in a large pitcher.
- Fill the half of the pitcher with ice cubes.
- Fill with water.
- Let it rest 24 hours in the fridge before serving.
Enjoy their refreshing taste!

Where can I find a water pitcher like that??

Joanna: these are commercial pitchers for the hospitality industry. I know that Cal-Mil distributes beverage dispensers but not necessarily those exact models.

I had this today when I was there and it was refreshing and wonderful. I really needed this as my throat was hurting and it was sort of hot today. I certainly got rid of the iced water I had. I will make this and drink it at work since my boss and I are on a diet. I do get sick of the aftertaste of the premade flavored water. Thank you for the recipe.

I agree that this water looks refreshing & healthy!
@Joanna, check the following link for information on how to purchase a similar container. I can help you at ellen.willowhouse.com. Go to the “Shop Online” button & you’ll be able to purchase directly from the web page.

@Joanna: I’ve just realized the link above doesn’t take you to the page for the Savannah Beverage Server. You can do a search on my site to find the item. (Wouldn’t normally post this but since there was an inquiry, I wanted to oblige.)

I think you wanted to say “marinate” and not macerate, since macerate means to chew. Nice recipe!

Hi Susan, macerate is the right word. It means soften or break up (something, esp. food) by soaking in a liquid.
