I saw those on the 2008 catalogue of the Conran Shop.
I enjoyed the fun design of Mr Impossible Chair by Philippe Starck. Mr Impossible (it is a reference to him, lately?) was launched at the 2007 Milan Furniture Fair.
Mr Impossible exhibits a tension between the opaque seat and the translucent base. The two parts are welded by laser so they stick together. I did not find the red chair the online store of Conran Shop.
At $5400 a piece, I will only admire the OClock designed by Anthny Duffeleer. But it looks really cool! The Stick lights by Michael Young will be available in Spring 2009.
