We're hearing that a lot of furniture manufacturers will have new collections with gray as the "new neutral." I am thinking of painting over my clay red accent wall in my main living space with a light gray/pewter color. I've been doing some research and Benjamin Moore's Aura line of Affinity colors (low/zero VOCs) has a nice collection of gray colors to choose from. I am on the same design page as you!
